Anti-embolism stockings apply constant pressure to the legs, accelerating blood flow and reducing coagulation. It applies a decreasing compression towards the calf and upper leg, with the external pressure being highest at the ankle. Thus, it increases blood fluidity in the deep vein system.
Anti Embolism Stockings are designed in accordance with "TS ENV 12719 Medical Thrombosis Prophylaxis Stocking" standard. It is available in 3 models as below the knee, thigh high and thigh high with waist belt. Anti-bacterial webbing in the finger area reduces the risk of fungus. There are silicone bands on the upper side of the socks that prevent slipping. Thanks to its special latex-free fabric, it is highly adaptable to the patient with its elastic structure.
Indications:
- They decrease the risk of deep vein thrombosis in immobilized patients before and after surgery.
- They increase blood flow rate by providing graded pressure.
- They increase blood flow in other venous disorders such as chronic venous stasis.
